Ministry Portfolio

Hello! I have been a passionate Christian since 2010 - a faith that was nurtured by my involvement in outdoor ministry, which is what lead me to where I am today!

I  grew up near Harrisburg, PA at Otterbein United Methodist Church where my family was very involved. My first ministry leadership role in that church was serving as the youth band worship leader when I was 13 in 2010, and I served in that role for 7 years. I was active in the youth group and went to multiple church camps each year.

 

When I went to Lebanon Valley College for Music Business from 2015-2018, I also helped lead worship and guest speak as time allowed. I was also president of the campus theater company and directed the musical "Nice Work if You Can Get It"

After college, I served in international ministry for 11 months with the World Race through Adventures in Missions. We served in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Romania, Portugal and Spain in 2019 in ministries ranging from homeless street evangelism in Medellin to children's day camp in Nairobi and so much more. I was the worship leader for our mission team and helped organize times of praise and prayer in between months of ministry.

Then in 2021 I began in my current role as the Camp Administrator at Camp Mardela. During my time here, I have organized summer and winter camp programming for children in Pre-K-12th grade, as well as intergenerational and adult program, coordinated rental groups on the property,  maintained budgets and property maintenance, spoken and filled pulpits at local churches, and more. Camp minisitry feels like the culmination of the leadership skills I have developed during my life. It is amazing to get to serve in so many unique capacities in one ministry, and I am grateful for this opportunity to welcome people into God's creation to deepen their knowledge and awareness of God's working in the world.
