Read the Bible in a Year

Hey! So some of you may know that I read through the Bible chronologically in 2019 during my mission trip. I was able to finish it in 11 months and the Lord taught me so much through this plan. I found a deep love of His word, and found myself wanting to read more and more every day. I took some time to tailor the “Reading God’s Story: One-Year Chronological Plan“ in the YouVersion Bible App to an 11-month World Race reflection plan, and have now revised it to a 12-month plan that I find reflects the pace I like reading the Bible, and is divided by books/themes for monthly reflection.


Each month is 20-31 days, including days of rest every 5 days and 1 day of reflection at the end of each month. Since not all months are created equal due to scheduling, business, and actual length of each month, this provides some flexibility to take extra off days in long months or to read a little extra in short months. I hope this can be a helpful tool for anyone who wants to read God's unfolding testimony in every page of His divine word!
